Vinton Monuments (www.VintonMonuments.com) has worked with the cemtery board, Lewssiton Monument Company, local Veteran’s groups and AmeriCorps to help restore some of the damaged markers.  Work continues and a lot needs to be done to fully restore the cemetery

Parking: Parking is available throughout the cememtery, and the local event cohost will have a tent near the entrance for any needed paperwork and shade.

Food & Snacks: Food, beverages, and snacks will be provided by a local funeral home

“Maplewood is on the west side of Vinton and they experienced great loss last March when a derecho hit Vinton. Tom Boeckmann, President of Vinton Monuments teamed up with Lewiston Monument Company to reset many of the monuments, but there was not enough time or resources for repair or re-setting of the many older monuments severely damaged by the storm..”
