We are beyond grateful for this experience and incredible journey, bringing together people, groups, and organizations from all corners of our beautiful country on a mission to save America’s cemeteries!
In 2020 we embarked on a mission to preserve America’s graveyards
The plan was to conduct 48 gravestone preservation workshops, in 48 states, in 48 days. We scheduled the route and traveled the country teaching how to clean, repair and reset gravestones & monuments with great success.

My name is Jonathan Appell. For the past 20 years I have collaborated with numerous people and organizations from sea to shining sea how to preserve gravestones and monuments. With this experience I have developed simple and effective hands on techniques and helped to create a movement to restore America's Burying Grounds.
