Parking: Park at the Town Beach lot on Rte 148 (W. Main St.) across from the Cedar Lake Snack Shack, a 5-minute walk to the cemetery. (view diagram below)

In the Area / Lunch: Pizza and water provided by the CCA (or, it's a 5-minute walk to full lunch at the Cedar Lake Snack Shack), and a portable toilet will be on-site.

About West End Cemetery

The West District Cemetery, established in Chester, Connecticut, in 1813, is between Cedar Lake Road on the west and the lake on the east. Most of the lots in this cemetery were owned by the earliest farming families in the West District of Chester and later by those who built neighboring homes to enjoy the lake air.
