About Williamsport Cemetery
The Williamsport Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, was established in 1850 by Abraham Updegraff and Samuel Lloyd. The burial grounds, also known as the Washington Boulevard Cemetery, are located on the corner of Washington Boulevard and Railway street and consist of eight acres.
Williamsport's earliest settlers are interred here, as are the town's founder, Michael Ross, and Pennsylvania's 14th governor, William F. Packer.
The cemetery is tax exempt and overseen by a Board of Directors. Ongoing care and maintenance is dependent upon donations from interested parties and caring organizations.
