About Troy City Cemetery

Troy City Cemetery is located in Madison County, Troy, Illinois, two blocks south of the Tri-Township Library. Established in 1849. An acre of ground was gifted to the town by Wesley Jarvis in 1843 for the purpose of a cemetery. The town later purchased additional ground. Many of the early settlers of Troy are buried here.
