“Mountain Home Cemetery was founded in 1849 as a private cemetery and was deeded to the City in 1940. It is located on a glacial moraine and is the final resting place of many of the early pioneers and founders of the city. It was damaged by a tornado in 1980 and is in significant need of restoration.”
