“The Church was founded in 1885 and the building was completed in 1903 by Norwegian immigrants. My great-grandfather Andreas Pederson Rusten was one of the original deacons. The first burials were in 1884. The church is 9 miles from Cooperstown and about the same from Aneta.

The Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site is located between the church and Cooperstown. There is a hotel and a few restaurants in Cooperstown. Cooperstown is also the home of the Griggs County Historical Society.”
