Parking: Parking available in the new section located at the north end of the cemetery, there will be flags out for parking so it will be easy to find!

Cemetery Background/Info

Rice cemetery was in the news last year as we dedicated a state historical marker for a Medal of Honor recipient and recognition of the Rice family of which there are descendants still in the area. There are over 1,000 burials in this still active cemetery. There are a lor of veterans buried here, including a CMOH recipient and the last Civil War veteran to be buried in Monroe county.
